The best solution to these issues is centralized brand ownership and management. The grouping of the required skills in a central, IP-focused company is the best method to facilitate effective brand management. Conclusion ‘Brands’ are often said to be the most valuable assets of modern companies. Trade marks are the foundation and the legally transferable core of what is known as a ‘brand’. It is these specific intangible assets that are increasingly being moved, traded and licensed.
